About Me
I’m Chloe Faure, a French wine expert and food writer based in London, passionate about exploring the politics, culture, and sustainability of what we drink and eat.
Raised in the Cahors region and after a few years spent living in Bordeaux, I grew up with a deep respect for producers and a connection to what's behind what we drink and eat. Since moving to London in 2016, I’ve worked in the wine and food industry in procurement and communications, with brands such as Fortnum & Mason, Fine Food Specialist, Soul Fruit and Forest Wines.
As a freelance journalist, I write about producers, climate change, and sustainable drink & food systems, while also helping wine shops with their marketing and content strategy through copywriting, email marketing, content creation, and PR.
I currently work as a wine expert and content strategist for a natural wine shop, where I write and edit blog posts, email newsletter (+50k subscribers) and develop social content.
I’m currently studying for an MA in Political Communications at Goldsmiths, where I’m researching the communication gaps between rural and urban communities when it comes to agricultural and environmental policies in France and in the UK.
For me, it's never just about taste, it’s also political, cultural, and personal. Looking for a insightful piece on sustainable wine or creative content for your shop? Let’s collaborate!
